Mass Gain is the common goal of every person who lift weights or who do bodybuilding. There are many ways to increase mass and weight so that you can focus more on your workout routine. Some tips are given below that helps you increase mass and weight as per your need.
1. Eat more Calories
Easiest way to increase mass and weight is to eat. You have to take calories more than your calories burn. Muscles can't grow without food and without food supplement too are waste products. Your every meal must be high in calories, without it you can't increase mass.
Consume at least 5 to 6 meals a day and take protein, carbs and fats in each meal for absorption of nutrients. If you are able to eat more food than you can take 2 to 3 homemade protein shakes a day.
If you really want to increase mass than you can take a protein shake at mid night to increase muscle growth. Fiber is good for us but don't consume it too much if you want to gain mass because makes you feel fuller and you eat less. So consume minimum fiber so that you can take more calories throughout the day.
2. Drink Water
Water is an ultimate supplement. It keeps you hydrated and helps in your gym performance and reduces fatigue. Water helps in regulating food vitamins and minerals properly.
3. Increase Little Bit Sodium
We get sodium from salt. to gain mass take sodium little bit more but don't take too much sodium which leads to side effects. Take 10 % more sodium according to your daily intake.
Sodium is an important mineral which is necessary for muscle contraction. Sodium increases water retention and gives you instant mass gains. Sodium also increases carbs and amino acids absorption.
Rest is also very important to increase mass. Without recovery you can't increase your mass. You have to take at least 8-10 hours of rest and don't train same muscle group every day for proper recovery.
5. Take Creatine Monohydrate
Creatine helps you to gain mass without giving you any side effects if taken in proper dosage. Creatine is one of the most popular and studied supplement that helps in increasing muscular strength and performance. While taking creatine consume more water throughout the day to experience its benefits.
6. Stop Aerobics and Cardio
When you are gaining weight and mass than your metabolism is high and that's why during this period don't do aerobic exercises and cardio.
Doing extra aerobics and cardio increases your calories burning rate with which your mass gaining may suffer. You can do at least 1-2 time cardio in a week.
7. Do Hard Training
Push yourself hard in the gym to grow your muscles without doing hard training you can't build your muscles. While doing exercise do extra reps with controlled movements and do reps up to failure. By damaging muscle fibers you can increase your muscles growth. Muscles need some level of damage to grow but don't over train your muscles.
